By Apostle Robbin Hargrove
We go through a divine process of being pregnant with purpose and need the assistance of the Apostolic Midwife or birthing coach to help us in birthing forth our divine purpose on Earth. The Apostolic midwife has been given an apostolic mandate by God to spiritually discern the abilities, talents and skills of an individual. Apostolic Midwives see in others what most people can’t see.
They forge paths that many will not take on due to the risks involved. These risks include being criticized, being ridiculed, being ostracized, and being killed. However, they will be loyal to the voice of God in the church and in the marketplace in executing the safe delivery of purpose of all who come into their path.
Here are a few things I am committed to doing under the guidance of the Holy Spirit:
The Apostolic Midwife must recognize and identify the individuals that will be mentored, counseled, taught, trained and coached by them through the birthing process.
The Apostolic Midwife must establish a personal relationship with the son or daughter who is pregnant with purpose.
The Apostolic Midwife and the son or daughter must work collaboratively together to establish a short-term and long-term plan based upon their dreams, hopes, prophecies, aspirations, talents, giftings, skills and abilities.
The Apostolic Midwife must speak to the son or daughter and prophesy with words of encouragement, comfort and edification throughout the process of them being pregnant, birthing out and even after the delivery.
Many times, the process of carrying spiritual babies is harder than the delivery, especially during labor when the pain is the most intense. The tasks and the assignments always become more difficult as the time of delivery nears.
Here is what I need from you...
*“In order for the seed of greatness to be birthed in each of us, we must allow ourselves to totally surrender to the will of the Father. Some deliveries are very quick and relatively painless, and other deliveries or births are longer and more painful and difficult (hard labor or complications). We must let go of everything and everyone that is not a part of the birthing process. This season of letting go is very painful to many, because we have held on so long to things that please the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and the pride of life. But the mandate of God on your life requires you to release the garments of old, the old wineskins and replace them with the new garments that the Lord wants to bless you with.”*
